Here are some of the key signs that indicate your Concept 2 may be in need of a service or repair.
Replace batteries. PM3/PM4 D Type. PM2 AA Type. Press reset button on back of PM3/PM4 monitor.
Check that the lead from the flywheel to the console is not damaged, and is connected fully in the jack socket of the monitor.
Clean and vacuum flywheel outlet to remove any build-up of dust, as this will allow airflow.
Clutch or chain sprocket may need replacing. Contact us.
If caused by stiff links in the chain it should be cleaned and lubricated. If the chain continues to skip, the machine should not be rowed and you should contact us.
This is usually caused by dirt on seat rollers or monorail, or worn out seat rollers. Clean rollers and monorail with a damp cloth.
After extended use, the fit of the seat on the monorail may become loose due to wear on the rollers. Replace seat rollers if worn out.
Check all front and rear leg securing bolts are fully tightened, using an Allen key.
